stating to feel human again after 4th chemo

Just finished chemo i was on fec. Taste thing is horrid.RT apprently not so bad as chemo so i am told. my olnc said tat anyone who has had chemo tiredness will cope with RT tiredness.

I had 6 x chemo with FEC and have to say the last two were easy for me to deal with, although I didn't have the injection like you. I'm not sure if it was in my mind that the treatment was nearly over, but they were as ok as they could be.

I then had three weeks off before starting 18 RT treatments, started on 4th November.  So far have felt fabulous - especially when comparing tiredness to how I felt with chemo.  I have four more days of RT and then luckily for me treatment is over, if you have any questions just pm me, more than happy if I can help!

I had 6 TAC chemo treatments plus the injection the day after.

I did feel that the last 2 were more tiring. The nurses said that the treatment was somewhat cumulative effect.

Funny the injections did not effect me at all but we are all different.

Compared to TAC the RT was a stroll in the park. I had 13 sessions over 5 weeks.

The skin does get very red and feels like very bad sunburn. Use the cream they will give you from the start and massage it in well.
