So today I have received the official report from the oncologist.
First they refer to me as MrsNutter - who I am pretty sure is my mum and not me.
Second I think they have changed the staging of the cancer ( nice ofthem to tell me) but I cant be sure cause its all in jargon. My very nice oncologist nurse is on annual leave untill 15th dec so I cant speak to her so any hlep would be appretiated.
I have been diagnosed with T2b N1 squamous cell cacinoma of the cervix, left iliac node postitive
My MIR and PET scan showed a bulky cervical carcinoma SUV22 measuring approx 6.3x 5 cm in size. There was a solitary left common illiac node measuring 1.6x1,1cm in size.
so there you go thats the technical stuff which all boils dow to me having cancer which is going to get in the way of my day to day life for the foreseable future.
But we aren''t going to let that get us down (although sometimes it is going to be inevitable)
