Well here we are in 2009 - Happy, Healthy New Year! Have overdone things over the past 24 hours I think. Went out for a curry last night with hubby and we then saw the New Year in with a good friend and neighbour who was having a party at her house for her daughter who was turning 18. Hi, I'm new to this site. I am 12 days post-op now following a mastectomy and immediate DIEP flap reconstruction. Still feeling a bit sore, tummy very tight, still a bit of leakage from the drain sites and new boob looking and feeling hard and bruised and not matching the other side at all yet (however I can see potential).
