Had a fantastic day on Thursday. My two half sisters, my first cousin once removed and his wife came to visit aand I drove them into the city to have lunch at the Big Wok. My first cousin is 87 and his wife said she had not seen him enjoy food and eat so much for ages! It was very different to a normal restaurant experience with lots of kids running around, a lot of noise as people talked and the whole place singing happy birthday to a 13 year old boy celebrating during half term. Everone, including me, ate far too much and waddled back to the car via a chinese supermarket in Birmingham's China Town where my cousin's wife was shocked by how much she could save buying Oolong tea compared to wheer they live in Wallingfod. Loved it!!
Update on the treatment. My next chemo haas been delayed to a week tomorrow with the amount reduced. Wow, a whole week of freedom! just as well as another two people want me to meet them for lunch during the week. Now to decide where to go.
