Took advantage of the holiday from chemo over the summer donated by my onc and went down to London for 3 days to meet up with people I went to college with MANY, Many years ago. After 30 years there was a lot of catching up to do.
Eat too much Dim sum in China Town, walked too many miles around the city, had tea at the Charing Croos hotel (can recommen that), saw Ghost Stories at the theatre (good show) but recommend anyone seeing it to not go into the auditorium until they call you. The sound effects and light could give you a headache. I thought some of the boom boxes in cars were bad enough but this is louder and deeper!
Hope all of you get an opportunity to enjoy time with friends over the summer!
Mike
