Hi, my dad was diagnosed with meso last May, he has had treatment but just recently started experiencing bad headaches a swell as all the common symptoms has anyone else experienced these, as the daughter the professionals seem to not want to answer my questions.

Hi Kel-mac, There are a couple of groups you could join to find information.
One is the Mesothelioma Group and the other is the Family and Friends Group. Unfortunately the meso group isn't that well used but there are lots of posts with replies there you can read while waiting for replies from any intro you post there yourself. I
f you are helping in a caring role there is a Carers Only Group too.
You don't say what treatment he has had but could the headaches be a side effect of any treatment or medication recently started ?
You may have already read this, but if not this is Mac's 'Understanding Mesothelioma" booklet. Maybe you could go with him to his next appt and sit in and listen for nuggets of info from his team, you may even get the chance of a one to one with them. Tell them as a carer you need to know what he (and you) will be dealing with. They do seem to dodge hints but do tend to answer direct questions.
