Hi everyone
Had my last cycle of FEC on 30/3 and I am over the worst from the Chemo and steroids. I'm on the up again and boy does it help knowing that was the last chemo. Still got Rads, Tamoxifen and Herceptin to go but I feel more positive now.
Also about five weeks ago my hair started sprouting. Admittedly its soft and downy and less then a quarter of an inch long but like seeing daffodils in the spring my fuzzy protrusions have given me new hope. It took me by surprise because I'd heard that regrowth usually starts 4-6 weeks after last chemo.
Don't get me wrong I still look like an alien - no eyelashes and invisible eyebrows but the wretched chemo is behind me now.
