Does anyone have experience of a forced menopause through chemo (I am on FEC)? I have been suffering with frequent hot flashes and night sweats and wonder how long and intensive this might be. Any tips for reducing symptoms would be appreciated.

I know it is not quite the same, but my dad has had hormone therapy for prostate cancer.
To lower the testosrone in his system, which can bring on hot flushes in men due to hormones changing.
He has the odd flush now and again but the GP gave him some form of medication to help control them or reduce them.
