Hello.
This is pretty new for me,(Blogs) I am writing this blog as my wife and I attended The Christie today to speak with the Consultants who treat my mum for Bladder and now Brain Cancer.
She was diagnosed 5 years ago with Bladder Cancer, she is a fighter and has had umpteen rounds of Chemo over the 5 years, with the usual side effects.
10 days ago she attended the Hospital to have a CT scan due to certain symptoms, she was then told she has two tumours in the Brain (Secondary), I wasn't sure what to do or ask (Mum and Dad don't want to know the worst)..Today the Consultants told my Wife and I that my beautiful mum has months to live, 50:50 that this will be more than 3 months, I am lost for words and cannot understand how something we have lived with for so long should now accelerate, she is not in pain, just tired, I love her as all the family does, hope she can enjoy life of what is left and we can also including her 2 doting Grandchildren aged 5 and 7.
