It was great news and ta for your responses

Less than one minute read time.
Yes it was great news! Even better having all of you out there to share it with. For people like me who live alone this community is a real blessing. You have all been great support. However before I get too carried away with the resuls. It was confirmed that I have a Lymphoma, that I would need treatment at some stage, but not now and perhaps not for a long time. Seems at present that the immune system is coping on its own for now. Just pray that it continues. It is back to watch and wait with frequent bloods and other testing. I am just so lucky and wisk other could share my luck. Malc

Great news Malcolm.  At least the docs are aware of the problem and can keep an eye on things.  Hope all continues to go well for you.  Best wishes, Christine xx

    Hi Jo,

Point one you need no excusing. You are not ignorant.  I asked the Quack the same question.  It appears that because the IgM in the blood is on the decline, my blood count is normal plus one or two other things it is suggested that my immune system is coping with the problem on its own. No tumers showed on the scans, theerefore the decision taken by the working group of Doctors looking at my case was that treatment would make me feel worse that the problem. Plus not knowing the precise location of the lymphoma  targeting it was to say the least difficult.  Well that is as I understand the situation.  Remember I am an engineer not a doctor so what do I know????????????????/

Sorry if that reads hard but I just dont know!

    Love Malc.

    Hi Malc

No it doesnt read hard - they obviously know what they are doing. Sounds like the best thing you can do is to keep yourself healthy and get on and enjoy life. Im sure they will monitor you regularly.

Wishing you loads of luck, no one deserves this terrible illness
