John's looking good this morning. Tucked into a boiled egg and soldiers and planning a fish pie for dinner. He's dreading Thursday, because he's due for Chemo No. 4, but I've said that we must make the best of the next three days while he's feeling OK.
We have the pre-chemo tests tomorrow and I've arranged for my lovely neighbour to look after Gemma. Fingers crossed that the chemo can go ahead for and that it's doing its job.
He's due for a scan next Monday and we're keeping everything crossed that there will be a noticeable change in the tumour so that they will carry on with another four sessions of the chemo treatment.
It's the only way we can fight this horrible disease and I want my soulmate around for a good bit longer yet. We've got a lot of living to do, God willing!
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
