went to the hospital with jim today for jim to have radiotherapy for pain relief to his right hip after 2 and half hour wait was told to come back tomorrow for it. So jim still in pain tonight

Hi Lynne, that really is horrendous. So sorry to hear that. Sometimes you feel as if you really are just a number to them. Hope all goes well tomorrow and Jim gets a bit of relief. Best wishes, Christine xx

Hi there - just wanted to say that I have had RT for pain relief to my hip earlier this year. Firstly - it makes the pain WORSE to begin with - and the Rt takes approximately 6 weeks to work - so although it is extremely annoying that he missed his appointment - Rt is no 'quick fix' for pain.
