My mum died at 6pm tonight, she looked so peaceful,she has really suffered these last few days. She had a haemorrage before we arrived, but the nurses said that it would have been very distressing for us to see.I kissed her and said i loved her just as i did this afternoon,when she was awake.i do feel a sense of calm though now.

...to read about your mum. I'm sure it really hard for you at the moment but take with you all the love and happiness your mum will have known and gave in return. The bonds with our mums are unbreakable and are held deep in our hearts forever - a relationship like no other, irreplaceable - I take comfort that my mum didn't suffer in the end and she knew with all her heart how much she meant to me and I'm sure your's did too.
