mum gone so sudden

Less than one minute read time.
My mum died at 6pm tonight, she looked so peaceful, she has really suffered these last few days. She had a haemorrage before we arrived, but the nurses said that it would have been very distressing for us to see.I kissed her and said i loved her just as i did this afternoon, when she was awake.i do feel a sense of calm though now.

i am very touched by peoples comments. today we have gone through some of mums things we read some of her diary entries and since march last year it seems she has been suffering she writes about the pain she has had daily in various parts of her body but never told anyone. this saddens me as if she had spoken about it perhaps more could have been done.
