    Hi Michelle,

You will probably find when you go back next week they might do a Biopsy on the lump just to make sure, its nothing nasty. All the best and Good Luck.

Take care and be safe Big Hugs Love Sarsfield.xx

It's very difficult waiting for appointments and waiting for results.  All the time, the mind and imagination can conjure up best and worst case scenarios.  I do hope the time passes and that you get some answers, as uncertainty is very trying.

I'm also in limbo, with biopsies and results outstanding for my husband.  Living like this for weeks is none too easy!  Cathy XXX

    Hi emily,

I'm so sorry to hear about your mum. You're right that this blog is two years old, but there are many other members on this Community with similar experiences to yours, so I hope that you can get some good support here.

It's a good idea to join and post in some groups that are relevant to you. For example, you might be interested in the Lung Cancer group, where you can find others with a similar diagnosis to your mum, and the Carers group, where you can find others who know what it's like to have a loved one with cancer.
