Positivity

1 minute read time.
Cancer is such a horrible thing, it doesn't care who you are, what you do, what family you have. One thing which helped me through everything is trying to think off even the tiniest bit of positivity in knowing my dad had lung cancer. At least we as family have time, we have time to make new memory's, to laugh and have a small cry about the old memory's. We have time to say goodbye, although no time is ever enough. Some people will go out and never return home, never get the chance to know how loved they are, or their family's never get to hear how loved they are. After seeing my dads battle with lung cancer it has given me a new look on life. I appreciate the tiniest things. I plan to get involved in a lot of charity work in the new year, helping to raise money for those with cancer and their family's. Hopefully I will do the Machu Picchu trail in Peru after I find a suitable charity to go through, which my dad always wanted to do. And scatter some ashes there. Love and prayers to each and everyone off you on this website. Stay strong x
