Hiya guys,
I was wondering if any of you are able to give me some advice and help regarding my mums condition. My mum is 53 years old and was sadly told she had terminal cancer about 6 weeks ago and had months rather than years. It started off as cervical cancer which has spread to the peritoneum cavity. Around 4 weeks ago she started getting a pain in her lower back and she and the nurses just put it down to her syatica, anyway over the past few days the pain has become unbearable and she is now not able to walk without someone to hold on to and even then she struggles and falls. We thought it could also be to do with the cancerous fluid in her abdomen but a scan has shown that she doesnt have that much fluid at the moment so we are stumped!!! The main consultant has now brought her ct scan forward which was meant to take place in 6 weeks time after her 3rd round of chemo and I'm terrified the cancer has spread to her spine. I know I shouldnt but I checked the symtoms on the net and it doesnt look good at all and watching her in so much pain is heartbreaking :(
If anyone had any experience of this or any advice to offer it would be really good to hear from you.
Best wishes and Hugs
