Paranoid or Wishful Thinking

Less than one minute read time.
I have been getting lower back pain for a few years now due to an over flexible vertebrae and lazy ones below it and had been getting chiro to help ease it which it had been. However had to stop the chiro as lying down on my stomach was getting a wee bit too sore. The pain in the back has increased slightly and as its the same pain as before in 95% sure it is the vertebrae problem. I mentioned it at the hospital yesterday, just to see if they could recommend a freeby chiro lol, but the nurse said that the pain could be getting caused by the tumour pressing against the lower of the back, so now if I think its the cancer am I getting paranoid or if I'm thinking its the old problem back again is it wishful thinking. I'm still pretty sure that its the old problem as its the same kind of pain, pain the backside to be honest, lol.

Hi Loulou, I don't think you are being paranoid (well maybe just a little lol).  It comes with the territory actually.  Every ache and pain I suffer, and they are quite a few, to me is cancer returning.  I don't think it is something which ever leaves us.

I would certainly think that the pain is due to the previous back problem, but best get it checked just in case.  At least if they tell you it is the vertebrae problem you will be able to relax

Hope it all goes well, Christine xx
