My Experience so far

Less than one minute read time.
December last year 2008 i was amitted into hospital with a suspected ectopic pregnancy, only to discover two weeks after it was removed that i actually had a Carcinoid Tumor in my right fallopian tube, which they removed along with my right ovary. After i had got over the recovery i was still in a lot of pain so after a lot of test in July 2009 i went in for more surgery this time to remove my appendix, a cyst on my left ovary and to look at my bowel. The surgery went well and three weeks after i went back for results. I have been informed that there was a Carcinoid Tumor in my appendix and that there could be a good chance i have one in my bowel where the appendix was attached. So i am now faced with another operation my third in 7 months, i do have to speak to my new consultant who specialises in carcinoid cancer, so i am keeping my fingers crossed that suregery is off for a bit as i dont think i could cope again with another major operation, do i have the strength? I am not sure?

Just want to send you a e-hug.  You have had so much to contend with in such a short time, sure you are FED UP to the back teeth with surgery and hospital stays already.  Fingers crossed that your consultant will give you some good news.  From your photo you look up-beat, strong and positive - try and hold onto all three and you can get through anything!!!
