So much potential

Less than one minute read time.

I don't know where to start this blog really or even why i've joined this community.  We lost our darling granddaughter on Christmas morning and it all still seems so surreal.  I know she's gone but somtimes I can't comprehend that we will never see her again.  She was only 11 - so much potentiial....................

I'm so sorry. How terrible, and how cruel.

  • Hello Boysie

I too am very sorry for such a tragic loss and I wonder did you come to the site because you needed to express what you are feeling.

It can be hard sometimes to express how you are feeling when those around you are also grieving and maybe you have to appear strong to try to help and support them at this terrible time

I know there are no words right now that will help so I send you the warmest of hugs

Thank you Scraton - yes, i think that sometimes you need to have somewhere/somone just to express your darker moments.   We are focussing on happy times and talk about our granddaughter at evey oppportunity and will continue to do so.  I know MacMillan has been an invaluable suppport to our son and daughter and thank you to all you bloggers out there for just listening.
