Let me start at the beginning of the end , sounds confusing but all will become clear. In the middle of December I invited my mother and step-father with my sister and her husband to have a sort of Christmas meal as i would not be at home during Christmas. This was a great party everyone feeling so happy and looking forward to Christmas and the New Year. While I was away I phoned my mother and she had not been well , was constantly having burping and wind and did not know why. Then between Christmas and New Year it got worse and she was vomitting 'coffee grounds' (blood etc.) and was admitted to hospital for a few days and they gave her scans and patched her up a bit using some drugs. We though ah well just a minor thing at her age and she would get better. We booked a holiday to go to Mauritius as all seemed ok.
