Sunday , and it was time to see mum again after having a day away. She did not look as well as Friday and complained that the 'DUCK' was too heavy for her. I felt that the end was beginning and when she could speak and understand me I asked her if she wanted to see her best friend on Monday as it was a bank holiday. She said yes that would be nice. The rest of the time she was drifing in and out of the present , often saying things that we as a family had done many years ago. I understood what was happening as my late father went into this type of thing when he died of a stroke. I went home hoping that she would still be here on the Monday to see her friend.
