My father died in March 2013 3 weeks after being diagnosed with cancer, I am an only child although now an adult. I thought I was coping with my father's death, I put all my strength into supporting my mother - they would have been married 63 years 2 days after his death. Then 12 weeks later on Father's Day my mother was diagnosed with the same cancer, no treatment. I feel like my world has ended and although I have a supportive family of my own nothing can fill the void I feel. It is like the pain is twice as much. Anybody else faced a similar situation?
