My dad was diagnosed with kidney cancer four years ago. It was totally by accident it was discovered. It was also discovered he only had one functioning kidney, the other was like a shrivelled walnut. Of course the cancer was in his good kidney. He decided to have cryopathy, which was a relatively new treatment. The tumour was frozen and died. It went successfully but we were told that it could come back.
I've found out today that he has been passing blood in his urine. He has been to the doctors and the GP is concerned, He is writing to his consultant for an appointment asap.
I have two younger sisters and an older brother. One of my sisters gave birth to a little boy on Saturday and I am so scared my dad won't see him grow up.I know I may be worrying needlessly but hey you all know what its like.
I was browsing on the laptop and came across this site. The stories i've read have inspired me so I thought I would join. Thanks for letting me put some feelings into words.
