    Hi,

Welcome to the Online Community. I'm so sorry to hear that your friend has a terminal diagnosis at such a young age. It's understandable that you are finding it incredibly difficult to see her suffer so much.

You might find it helpful to join our Brain Tumours group, and post your question there, to get answers from other members with experience of similar conditions. I'd also recommend our Being a Relative group, which is a really good place for the families and friends of people with cancer to share their feelings and get support.

We have some information on our website that explains a bit more about what happens at the end of life - you might want to read this if you feel ready to know more.

You can also give our team a call on the free Macmillan Support Line (0808 808 0000, Mon-Fri, 9am-8pm). Our specialist nurses can give you information to help you understand what may happen to your friend, or you can also call if you just need someone to talk to.
