My Diary What a wonderful sunny day

2 minute read time.

The sun has shone all day such after a very frosty start  with white rooftops that made it look like a dusting of snow had been in the night.

It soon warmed up so we had breakfast and a shower and got ready to go out.

The neighbour opposite took advantage of the good weather and was cleaning his windows as we exchanged a “Goodmorning  lovely day” and then got Louis into the car where he sat very still as we chauffeured him to Sturry and took him for a walk after parking in the retail centre.

We were going to walk to Sturry Station but then I said we should go to the Park and Ride as they don’t run on Sunday, so we crossed the busy road and I let Louis off lead as he had the whole parking area to himself so he really did have a great runn around in the sun. I hadn’t taken his ball so he used my glove and was shaking it like it was something he had caught and had to kill by shaking its neck!!!

We came back and shut him in the car as we went to the new M&S food hall that has opened and i was walking around with a basket and walked right into a man coming round from the other side, It was my old boss who I have only seen once before since I retired.

What a shock and isn’t it funny how you can bump into someone you haven’t seen for 10 years can just be walking the same place as you when if we hadnt bought the dog out we would have shopped and been gone.

It was a lovely to meet him and meet his new wife of 2 year’s I loved it and we had a chin wag talking about the people we knew in work etc and  we said goodbye giving him a card with all our email and phone number on. Dave please keep in touch.

We then went into Curries and bought a webcam for my Skype so that I can have even more fun talking to mesowarriors here and oversea’s

We got home and I cooked a roast dinner and had Profiteroles for sweet all low fat diet!!

Bill I love the photo of the rough seas in Saudi I get sea sick just looking at it

That is some big wave Bill

Give me our quiet seas anytime

Hi Mavis,  Sounds like your having some lovely days, and Louis! Have you heard how Colin (Tilerman) is? I've emailed but haven't had any reply yet, I know he was due to start chemo, and that he has it at home, this is something we're interested in, I know you have to pay for it, but I would be interested to know how to arrange it.  Take care. Angela

  • I don't know how Colin is he hasnt been on here so I dont know.

I have asked about chemo at home and no one has had it like that until things get really bad and you cant make it to hospital.

Ask you Doctor he should know if it was possible if not go to Bupa and see if the do it.

    Love mavis
