So Mr Booker in the Daily Mail hadn't done his home work, if they are going to pull down the Primary schools, then there really must be a problem with Asbestos.
The point is you shouldn't take risks with our young children.
Charlotte Hume: “Billions are to be spent on rebuilding primaries, but will it finally end the scourge of asbestos? More than 1500 primary schools are to be rebuilt or refurbished over the next two years. Ministers hope it will transform primary education and sweep away ageing buildings. Many older schools have large amounts of asbestos in their buildings and campaigners have been increasing pressure on the DCSF to undertake an audit. A group of medical experts, trade organisations and campaigners say they believe the numbers of teachers and pupils dying from asbestos related diseases is on the increase.

And another little bit of hope for a new trial.
A FORMER dockyard apprentice battling an asbestos-related cancer which has killed six of his past workmates is taking part in pioneering clinical trials.
Colin Elliott, aged 62, said he was exposed to asbestos as a teenage apprentice shipwright at Devonport Dockyard in the 1960s.
After being diagnosed with the aggressive lung cancer mesothelioma in 2007, he successfully claimed £850,000 from the Ministry of Defence. Despite the fact that people with the deadly condition are expected to live for just 18 months, Colin is still fighting three years on.
Following surgery and chemotherapy, he has agreed to take part in ongoing drug trials which could lead to a breakthrough in the treatment of the condition.------------------------------------------------------------------------
One of my Facebook friends (Debbie) has emailed to find out what the trials are, as there so many of us that would help out in drug trials, we cling to any hope as there has to be a cure around the corner.

It has been a lovely sunny day today absolutely superb after all the cold we have endured this year.
We took the dog for his walk early and then went shopping to fill the freezer up so we are stocked back up again.
I made a wonderful chicken and dumpling stew as Ray has a sore throat and keeps sneezing, I keep telling him to stay away from me as its the last thing I need.
I have done so well staying away from colds while I had Chemo, so if I catch it now it wont be so bad .
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
