As we watched the Twin Towers collapse you didn’t realise that this would happen.

Asbestos was in the Towers and as they collapsed sending that cloud of dust that we watched in amazement, it also sent the Asbestos dust over a large area.
We will not know the full extent of the damage until years to come.
Malignant mesothelioma caused by exposure to asbestos, for example, can take 30 years to manifest, which means that if the trade center dust does indeed cause cancer, it would likely not start appearing until after the present court cases are resolved.
We have many buildings here that do have asbestos in so real care must be taken when they disturb it.

Well the rain has stopped play this Easter as we got a phone call to say the Rally we were going to hadnt enough hardstanding in the playground and the field was water logged so a fast decision was made to phone around other site’s for a space, but all the sites are eithe full or water logged here in the South, so we unpacked the Motorhome and stayed at home.
We have managed to get out in between the showers and have a good walk on the beach and will get out to see friends today and my son tomorrow, so all is not lost.
