We woke up to the same scene as yesterday
It was lovely and cosy in doors and very Icy outside as I let the dog out for his usual bladder empty.
I sat and answered my emails and tidied my paperwork as the dog kept barking as neighbours delivered Christmas cards through the letterbox reminding me I haven't done that job yet, a note to myself , pull your socks up.
My younger brother was supposed to be coming down but I knew he wouldn't be able to get out of his drive and sure enough the phone rang and he was confirming that was the case.
Such a shame but we will have to meet up in the new year.
I put my boots on and off we went with the dog for his walk.
4 times I slipped over in the thick snow looking like a beached whale each time as I tried to get up.
The third time was funny but not for Ray as I hit him straight in the nether region and he was curled up in pain holding his private bits and me saying , "don't do that in the street"
It took him some time to get over that.
A car came by and a young man shouted out from an open back window "Hello Darling" that took me back to my younger years, lovely boy.
Then they stopped at the shops and while Ray was buying some milk a boy and a girl were loading snowballs in the car to throw at people as they drove by.
Back in the warm we have had a quiet day and I cooked a shepherds pie for dinner and our favorite meringue nest banana and yogurt.
Then I was locked in the den helping a lady from the USA to make a list that she is complying of Facebook asbestos help sites and she has let me put my blog and mesowarrior sites and my book on it.
Well its nearly bed time and I have had a really good day
