Lots of snow has fallen overnight and we have had to clear the pathway just to get to the shed.So pretty but so deadly and I had to go to the Doctors surgery at Chestfield for my flue and swine flue jabs.We left early for the appointment and good job we did as the traffic was heavy at 2pm due to the fact everyone was using the cleared main roads. The surgery was packed though and one woman even said she had the flue and was coughing away, what a germy place to be.When it was my turn I explained that I was on 20 day of my last Chemo so the nurse said that all people on Chemo have to have 2 jabs so I have to have another one in 3 week's.I got a jab in each arm --the right one was the seasonal jab the left was the swine flue so I feel well and truly jabbed. The nurse said I looked so well, which is what everyone says on seeing me, which is a good thing. We travelled back through the snow and was pleased to get indoors again and a hot coffee was welcomed.Dinner was a gammon steak and chips as a treat for being so brave.Well I dont like the weather forecast with a big freeze lasting so long --where is the greenhouse effect I wanted warm winters not big freezes
