Being Saturday and the weekend it always seems different to weekdays. I thought when we retired everyday would be the same but that not so as I still look forward to the weekend.
It was so windy through the night and the rain lashed down with noises in the garden as objects blew over.
The dustbin and then the plastic chairs tumbled down the garden and the dog never stirred.
I did manage to get a good sleep though so woke up full off energy and so Ray and I had a really good clean through and I cleared the way for a space for the new halogen cooker I have ordered.
This is the third one I have had as I do love the way they cook. The last one the element burnt out and I didn't know you could buy a spare so I threw it out last year and then found out today that the new element is only £10.00 hmmm that was silly.
I always have had gadgets Im a real gadget girl always buying things as they come on the market.
I had a microwave, a huge affair when microwave ovens were first out.
I than had one of the first combination ovens but hated the way I had to clean it like an ordinary oven as the heat element splattered fat.
I then had ordinary smaller microwave ovens and the Halogen came out.
After Lunch of carrot soup (left over from last night) hot roll from the oven and Sage cheese from a farm in Cornwall, very nice, and as the weather got better we went for a walk round the beach and realised we hadn't be round for a day or two and things change with house sold or up for sale, extensions pulled down and a rebuild starting it all gives us something to talk about.
Another thing we noticed was the beach has gone in one section and the groin was looking very deep. The sea must have been very rough at sometime and taken the pebbles out to sea.
Harry Hill was at his seaside cottage he is a super man and always says hello when he sees us. We have so many celebrities, artists, poets musicians, chefs, playwrights, and film producers living here in Seasalter and Whitstable they must love the quaintness of the area.
Peter Cushing is the most famous man in the past.

The weather came over very black from Essex and so we kept walking but I was getting out of breath and the pain in my left shoulder was getting annoying so when we came out onto the Main Faversham road again I was so pleased when Dave (my neighbour )stopped as he drove by and offered us a lift home , my knight in shinning armour he is always there when I need moral support and always jokes with me and makes me laugh.
He is having work done and like us is having the bath taken out and a shower put in. Its a great way of making the bathroom so much bigger and I just love have showers every morning, and night when its hot.
We got back just as it was raining again.
Sat and watched a film and then I made dinner of Lasagna and swede and carrots, nearly used them all, and swede.
Apple pie and Icecream, just a small piece for me we then watch more telly and talked on facebook and my MHF Forum sorting the world out.
Soon be off to bed again.
