We woke up this morning to the news of the floods in Australia and of course i logged onto facebook to talk to our Meswarrior friends as we are so worried about them.
I chatted to one whos's husband had his Chemo yesterday for the first time and they had to travel in a storm to get there and back and they are worrying that the river will swell near them.
Lucky enough her husband is doing very well and I hope that continues for him as I remember the feelings do well--bless him.
I had my other Australian friend on Skype and Ray sat with him after I showed off my Louis and he showed his 2 lovely sweet dogs that he must have woke up as it was midnight there.
Ray and he had a lovely long chat about the Support group and Ray was talking about how he felt when he got the news of my Illness and how lonely he felt when he came in doors and I was still in Hospital.
I learnt so much about how the men feel about the thought of loosing their partners. I also learnt that really we are all different and at different stages of mesothelioma and also we are pioneers where the treatment is concerned there really is no rules about how long we will survive and  that you cant say how long I have as each person is an individual and really we are out on our own.
The time flew by and it was way to late for talking to someone in Australia as it was 3am in the morning, so we said goodbye.

My Halogen Oven came with Rays Kindle, and some more books for me to sign and send off to friends alongside a cheque from the Local Freemasons of £200 for my Charity so it was all exciting open the post.
We grabbed something to eat (cheese and biscuits) and walked the dog but my it was so cold after being in the warm house  snuggled all morning  and then out where the wind was raw.
We got in and sorted out a lot of letter writing to send the cheque's off and the books.
I cooked a delicious Chicken Tikka  and rice in the new cooker and was well pleased with it.
