    Hi Mavis

I have just read your blog, and sorry to hear that the meso is growing again but great to read about your plan. Alan is now having his fourth line of chemo, so that fits in with the research you found, he has had a good response before and already after the third session of this chemo there has been a reduction.  So keep going with the fighting spirit Heather xxxx

  • Heather right just what i needed.

So should I be waiting to see if it grows more.

My Oncologist says she is reluctant to give me Chemo now as Im so well but is that right that I wait till may.

She says its up to me and I feel like they are not controlling me.

When I was first diagnosed they told me all that would happen -thee talc op then Zap the wound then Chemo they told me their plan now they are asking me to plan it so im lost  really lost Please help xx

    Hi Mavis,

They tell me that there is no hurry in having chemo if you are not feeling poorly.... shame I always have been.

I suppose as long as they are keeping an eye on things, if you think you need it give them a ring, and ask for an appointment before May.

    Good luck

    Viv

  • Oh Viv The way I see it is to wait and get a scan In May as I do feel well (now I have come out of depression)

It has grown to where it was at "oh we have shrinkage" and everyone was thrilled at that so I cant see Im in danger at the moment just so long as it doesnt gallop away now.

What I dont like is that they have left me in charge of it.

I want them t say do this do that and then I feel the know what they are doing.

I will keep going with Chemo though as I have read up that it is the best way little and often.

Hope you are keeping well though xxx

    Love Mavis
