I love Planes and so my wish was to camp at an Airshow and this weekend I did just that ---right next to the Runway.

It has been a great weekend at this airshow as we were Camped on the farm and right by the Runway and we have seen everything go up in the sky and the wonderful performances of the Aircraft.
My Favourite being the Tornado The Nimrod and the AWACS as both Ray and myself have work on these at GEC and very proud of that fact.
This shows how close our camp site was to the Runway there is a fence between us though.
Not one crash thanks to the skill of the Pilots and their team.
The Red Arrows are just brilliant and have their first woman pilot this year-- Kirsty Moore.
Red 3, Flight Lieutenant Kirsty Moore, has been honoured alongside a gold medal winner, a Michelin Star Chef and a UK rap star.
Kirsty was awarded the Education Award at the Performance Awards which were held in London last week.
The Turkish Stars were very good but Not as good as the Red Arrows as they are precision itself as they twist an turn with their display.
We were able to walk to the Village and watch the streams of Cars as they all flocked in to see the show.
The farmer who's land we were all on was very pleasant and when we ran out of gas he tested all our pipes and connections for us as we had only just put a new one on Sunday and then ran out Monday.
He sold his potatoes and fresh eggs which were very nice.
So we are home and the washing is out on the line and the grass cut--time so flake out. but planning my next wish!!!
