Hulks at Sheerness in Dickens times

It was a very cloudy day so it wasn't very inviting to go out anywhere in the car it was a day to get on the computer and Google away reading all about Charles Dickens and Prison Hulks and the history of Seasalter and Sheerness where workers in the Sheerness Dockyards were housed  ---your never to old to learn and I have so much Info at my finger tips.

We had a lunch of homemade soup and as usual got ready to go for our walk.
The sea was like a mirror as it was so smooth it was a brilliant sight to see.
When we got back I visited a neighbour for a chat about many things and a great cup of tea. It is nice to relax and have a laugh but the time went so quickly so I returned home and got on with the dinner as I had to make a meat pie and roast potato's with a real treat as a sweet of banana split Icecream and strawberry sauce.
My appetite is still very good which must be a good sign.
The dog has had his last walk so another hour and its bed time.

I used to go to Sheerness to a wholesaler - Shaw's with my father when I was younger. I never realised its history with the prison ships. Regards the no show letter and it's easy for me to say, no news is good news!

    Keep smiling
