What a day --more snow pelted down at 10am and covered all the paths and roads again, making it a total waste of time clearing it all the other day.
It does look so pretty though.
I did all the housework and we had lunch but Ray couldn't wait to go out as he has bought a new camera and couldn't wait to use it.
We got all our hats, scarf and coat on and set off and the snow was thick to walk in.
We posted some letters first and set off up the road but the wind was spiteful and hurt the chest, but when I raised my scarf over my mouth my glasses steamed up.
Louis loved the thicker snow and raced around chasing the snow as we kicked it along.

We didn't walk all down the beach as the wind really bit us so we walked into a back road and there we met friends who happily stood and had their photo taken by Ray.

We went back to the beach to see the snowman built by some children.

Then we saw the horses huddled together in the field so much to see in the snow.
When we got back we cleared the snow from the path but it got so black I thought we were in for another fall of snow so I said it was a waste of time really and went indoors into the warm and made a hot coffee.
Watched telly and dropped off for a while and watched telly again.
Made a Shepherds Pie roast potatoes, carrots and parsnip for dinner which was yummy.
Another lovely day has finished and we have been promised a whole lot of snow for the weekend.
