My Diary I made it to my Golden Wedding ---hooray!!!

2 minute read time.
Well it was spring bank holiday weekend and our Golden wedding party at Hamble (its not really until the 4th of June but this was the nearest Rally).

We set off on Friday with the Motorhome filled with food, it was all very exciting.

We had to call into our Dealer at P&P Campervans at Gosport where he gave us a parcel full of Accessories for the Motorhome ie: a Reversing Camera and chemicals, Exhaust Pipe extensions etc etc so we with donations from ralliers

The cake

we really did have a great raffle.

On Saturday we Linda took us shopping in the car to a Tesco to get the perishables and it was a huge Tesco so busy to.

I had lots of volunteers to prepare the party food and we had a great laugh as we all worked together.

The evening went better than we could hope. Kenny sang and entertained us,

cutting the cake

such a great act.

We danced the night away and had a real laugh but there was tears as we were presented with presents and cards, flowers and Rose Plants called Golden Wedding (my friend Peggy also gave me one ) so I have 2 to plant in the garden.

We were also presented with a surprise Photo of our wedding signed by all the campers I just couldn't understand how they had got it but Ken and Jen had copied it from my blog--I will treasure it for ever. xx

Ray was in tears when he said a thank you and I found it hard to talk as well.

It was a great evening one we will remember for the rest of our lives.

Thanks to all MHF that attended the Rally and thanks to everyone for all your good wishes.

We had a lazier day Sunday and then walked to Hamble where they had made Howards Way --such a pretty place by the River.

calling the raffle

Sunday night was a quiz night and a little Bingo and then we all finished the food that was over and had a sing song.

Monday as some went home we sat around talking and drinking coffee until we went to the hall and carried on chatting.

Today we said our goodbyes and set of for home where we have put our prezzies away and our cards and flowers have filled the rooms.

I will plant the rose tree's tomorrow if i have time.

Thank You all for making it a time to remember and believe me we will xxx
