My Diary Happy New Year

1 minute read time.

New year 2010.
A very exciting and fun packed New Year rally and I managed to attend although it was so cold and we had the fire on all he time Day and Night.

New Years Eve was a splendid Hogmanay with kilts being worn and lots of Tartan decoration  around the hall with lights.
A faith supper was held and then we danced to a disco until the bells rung in the New year and the kissing started, balloons popped and  Auld lang  snyne was sung.

Members had an Icy walk into Faversham which is a quaint market town.
DVD’s were showing in the Hall and a Game on the WII machine kept us entertained.
Then we all sat back to watch the DVD of of the Recent Italian trip to Lake Garda where a good time was had by those that attended this rally this was the rally I missed due to my Chemo so I was very envious.

In the evening we gathered in the hall for the clash of the Highland Games and this was great fun.
The games were caber tossing, hammer throwing, knocking the logging, and hunt the haggis. With pass the haggisto end it all.

Saturday we watched DVD’s of past rallies from 2004 ---a bit of nostalgia.

In the evening we all gathered over the hall where my son Terry entertained us with his Spanish Cerebrate Act this had the added dressing up of members  table's as Branigans Bar in  Benidorm--- a really lovely Spanish Atmosphere.
Terry kept us dancing all night long and a great time was had by all.

Sunday we woke up and the heavens opened and the snow came down so we all said a quick farewell and set of home.

All agreed we have had a Happy New Year now Im exhausted but I have helped Ray take all the Christmas Dec's down so its all over for another year.

Happt New Year to you all.
