My Diary---Day for my Ct scan

The snow has really taken a bashing from the rain that fell all night and we have got grass back again when I looked out of the bedroom window.

Today was Scan day so we had to allow plenty of time to get to Margate just in case the snow was causing chaos on the way.

We took the dog for a short walk so that we could leave him for a while and the paths were so icy that it was dangerous in places even though it was thawing.

When we got to the car and Ray started the engine the car wouldn't move and he realized we hadn't moved the car since the snow fell so the breaks must have frozen on and then got stuck.

Lucky enough with a bit of moving backwards and forwards we got out onto the road and when we made the Thanet way lo and behold no snow at all the fields all the way to Margate where snowless, not like from Seasalter back to Faversham where the snow is slowly giving in to the thaw.

We found a parking space and went into the QE Hospital 2 hours early and the department was empty and they saw me straight away so I was well pleased.

I changed into a gown and a nurse put a needle in ready for the dye and offI went to the Scanner where I had the dye put in my arm and I felt it travel through my body all hot.

I was moved through the CT scanner and held my breath when the machine told me too but it seemed to take a long time to tell me to breath normal, I thought I wasn't going to make it without another breath.

All done, a wait to take the needle out and dressed back we could go home so we thought while we were out we would get some shopping in, we paid a visit to Tesco's.

All the shopping put away we relaxed with a coffee and a doughnut and chilled out.

I keep worrying because I had forgot to take my bra off so the clip's will show up in the scan I do hope they realize what I have done and it isn't anything going wrong.

Well its 9pm and we are winding right down and the dog has come in for his evening walk.

How do they know the time because this dog does. Ray says he has a watch I wish I could find it and take it off of him.
