My Diary ---another full weekend

1 minute read time.

Off we went on Friday to our friends at Canterbury Park and Ride as they came down country to travel on the Ferry to France as a MHFacts rally was off to Germany.

Im proud of the Canterbury Aires as it is the first one run by a Council in this Country and wish more Councils would do it as it attracts the money to a town.

We celebrated the actual Golden Wedding with Champers and Cake and had wine as well.

Other members turned up as they were going and coming back from abroad so it was all exciting.

Off we went Saturday though back home as the loo was leaking so the new seal Ray had fitted was the wrong one.

We got the old one but still went to three Camping Shops before we could buy one.

Ra completed the job and we went shopping in Canterbury after my Son and Girlfriend arrived

Then we met up with Jock and Rita at Weatherspoons for a meal.

It was a very hot day which made a change and we sat out all evening drinking and chatting with all the other MHFact members.

It was a great evening.

The others all left early for their crossing's and we went for a walk with Louis and then cleaned the M/Home inside and out so we are ready again for next week.

This is the life but Im so tired and worn out but it has been the best 2 weekends Partying all the time.

You do so much, please keep going, as I enjoy reading you exploits, my husband has meso and is about to have chemo at St. Barts under the care of Dr. Steele, he sees him on Friday and starts chemo next Friday, we are all trying to keep him positive, but what do you say to keep someone going? lots of love to you.

  • Good luck to your husband as he goes on Chemo.

If he has any questions ask me by all means.

I do as much as I can until Im tired and im not afraid to ask for help then and Ray takes over.

I enjoy life to the full it has all become so precious.

I didnt like chemo so understand that the first day is fine the second might bring the sickness that I had.

Its a feeling inside that everything is being attacked and it was really awful then just as i felt better it was 21 days and I had to have a repeat performance.

But when the say disease stable when looking at a scan you know it was worth it and quality of life became good again and the the 3 months later disease is still stable Im very happy but now waiting for the scan at the end of July and the results Aug 2nd---its all a waiting game so nerve racking.

So hold his hand tell you love him and give him a kiss everyday.

Tell him that he must fight the nasty and stay positive.

The docs are amazed at me and my life tell him to amaze his Doc

    All my love Mavis
