Seasalter post office in the snow
It seems everyone has woken up to snow now and so many stranded motorists on the roads.
We slowly got up this morning and woke ourselves up with several coffee's as outside looked so cold.
We went into Whitstable in the car and called in the Museum as I have been searching for a book on the internet and it was £69.00's which seemed very expensive but the Museum had it on Sale so that was better.
Its a Book on diving for a dear friend who is a Diver so I cant wait for him to see it.
Whitstable was empty with just a few people walking about shopping not like the summer when you cant move down there for all the tourist's.
When we got home my neighbour told me she has had the Swine flu and has been ill at Xmas and that it has spread through all the females in the family.
As we were talking the heron flew around but couldnt find fish in the frozen pond's, he is the one who emptied my pond out in the spring so he isnt a welcomed sight.
A very regal bird though with those long legs.
Why we was all dressed warm we took the dog for a walk but the air was damper and hurt when I breathed in, this gets uncomfortable while walking uphill.
But the excercise was good and when we got home we were ready for a Beef Hotpot with carrots and parnips--real warming food.
The afternoon went fast with housework and the computer and yes a little nod off.
The arm does hurt today from the flu jab's but alot better than I thought.
