It has been so warm today it is a real pleasure to be able to walk around without our winter coat on.
I left the housework and had fun in the garden cutting down all the shrubs as they were growing straggly.
3 bags later of hedge-cuttings and shrub cuttings saw the garden looking good and tidy again.
I cut the grass as well so I felt I had done a good job all round.
Ray had taken the car for its MOT and came back smiling so I knew it had passed –such a relief.
He then shot off to Tescos to change the mobile phone that he had bought as it wouldn’t charge when he plugged it into the electric.
When he came back we had lunch and then walked the dog round to the beach and it was wonderful with the sun shinning away and the tide in.
I have made arrangements to meet my friend as he journeys to Germany so we are staying at the Canterbury Park and Ride where will open a Bubbly and cut one of the cakes we have saved.
Saturday we will go shopping in Canterbury and then Peggy is meeting us where we are then off to Deal for a Celebration Meal.
This has been a week of celebrations for our Golden Wedding and we are meeting out Son and Girlfriend who are back from their Spanish holiday, next weekend at a Beer Festival Rally so we will Celebrate again. Im getting to like this.
