The Dinner Dance at Headcorn Golf Club

We all have had a great time at the Headcorn Golf Club Dinner Dance as it has been a great weekend thanks to all the hard work that Julie Vial Has put into the arranging of the venue.

I didn't go on the Friday night as the weather was cold and I wanted to save my strength for the actual Dance so when we arrived i went straight in for my manicure with some of the other women  as I have never had one before but must say I enjoyed the experience.

A hand cream to soften the skin, cuticles clipped back, a hand soak in warm water and then base coat on the nails, 2 nail varnish coats in a pink and then a hardener and the job was done.

We sat and chatted and then it was back to the Motorhome for a snooze and then get ready for the Evening.

It was a lovely meal Pawn cocktail and then the beef and Yorkshire pudding was gorgeous as it was cooked to perfection I then had a chocolate tart and cream very good.

The Chairman presented Julie Vial with a large Bouquet of flowers by way of saying thank you to her.

Simple the best (Don and Rich) played the music and we also danced all evening with lots of laughter and merriment but I couldn't dance the night away as breathing is very difficult and the stamina has gone now.

I tried very hard and had lots of sit downs but it was lovely to be amongst friends and enjoying a night out.

We went home worn out, feet sore but happy,

Sunday morning we had to get up and go to Breakfast where we had more food Scrambled Egg, Tomatoes, mushrooms, baked beans, black pudding sausages bacon and toast and preserves-- we ate till we were full up.

At the chairman’s chat we were asked if they should book the venue for next year and it was a resounding YES!!!

No I'm back home and I must be a vegetarian again, and have a rest as Im shattered.
