Days 17/18/19 Ice Show and Xmas Party weekend.

1 minute read time.
Well what a weekend.
Friday we went to Guildford to see our a Pantomime --Jack and the bean stalk which was pure magic and we really enjoyed ourselves amongst the children who had come along with their schools.
I met a friend there as she was helping with the scenery and also who very pretty daughter who had a great part and skated so well.
We had to rush back along the M25 had a Steak Meal in a Little Chef and then dashed home to collect the Motorhome and get to the MCC Kent Group Xmas Party at Canterbury.
We arrived in time for the Carol Service and Xmas songs which we sung with Gusto and had mulled wine with a mince pie which helped us to sing better.
The Committee had decorated the hall so well with lights and a tree.
I wanted a magical Xmas and this was the start.
On Saturday morning we all went into Canterbury where we shopped and had a meal although I could not make that as the cold got to me and also the crowds and so I ask Ray if we could go back to the M/H where I had a sleep in the warm after cooking a Turkey dinner we had bought at Mark and Sparks.

At 3pm we went to the hall to watch the kiddies party and see father Xmas deliver his presents to them, a pure delight.

Saturday evening was the party and we had a great time In the decorated hall, a disco and wine buoyed us right up, and I did manage to dance for a while but of coarse got very tired and was so glad when it was bedtime.

Sunday we said all our goodbye's and with our card,s exchanged we have come home and I cooked a great dinner of Lamb Shanks and Jacket Potatoes and had another good sleep.
What a weekend.

My feet are playing up now as they have a numb feeling which is uncomfortable and has woken me up early I do hope all these silly aches and pains go away when the Chemo is finished.

  • I do know what you mean as I do have lots of cat naps though to keep myself going and tonight  Im very tired.

What i do find hard is---my friends dont let it drop so I can forget.

Its a constant telling me I look well and how do I cope when all I wont to do is forget and just be normal.

I have always loved partying and dancing but now I get very worn out and emotional with some song's.

Im near to tears at times.
