Day 7 Chemo 3 Sickness, mad dog, Garden Centre

2 minute read time.

The dog had us awake all night with a bad tummy. He woke us up to go out at 3am and all he wanted to do was eat grass. So--there I am cutting some Grass with scissors to get him in --the neighbour was awake as well, if he had looked out, I think he would have rung for a straight jacket.

The dog ate the grass I bought in and settled down again but we couldn't sleep then. We got up at 6am and made a drink, I was sick again, Ray took Louis for a walk.

As Ray had To go to the Diabetic clinic, we tidied up, had breakfast and went out. He was kept hanging around so long in the waiting room and I was getting a metallic taste bad I was so scared I would throw up in the waiting room. At last at 10.30am the nurse called Ray in and he has higher blood pressure--gosh is it any wonder. He came away with a prescription for more pills.

Off we went to a new Garden Centre that has opened on the Sturry Road where I was able to buy some Xmas presents, so I was very happy and we played with a baby there who's Mother was showing him all the pretty Xmas Decorations so sweet , it is what Xmas is all about.

Back at Tesco's we bought all the ingredients for the Xmas Cake Ray wants to cook, and more apples for another crumble--I'm really liking all this baking he is doing. When at home I made some lunch, just Cuppa Soup, Cheese and Biscuit's and heated Sausage Rolls through for Ray but we were shattered by then.

Ray has mixed all the dried fruit with the Alcohol and it is soaking for the big mix day tomorrow. We both dropped off and I had a great sleep as did the dog--shhh I took Louis for a walk around the Park and was glad to get in, as it has really turned cold now and we were glad to get back in the warm, where I cooked the dinner of Spare Ribs in a Soya Sauce, Jacket Potato, and chopped Cabbage. Sweet was Lyches and whipped cream.

Tonight I keep falling asleep and I get annoyed as I want to stay awake I moan to Ray. I put the heating on and I get to hot --I turn it off I get to cold--moan moan moan --My poor Darling Ray what he has to put up with.
