Day 19 wet and windy

1 minute read time.
It poured hard today and was so windy even the dog wouldn't go out into the garden.
When it did stop we got a small walk in which was very pleasant but the sky was full of angry clouds.
Had a nice dinner of Liver and Bacon (as the iron will do me good) and the carrot cake has gone down very nicely.

Felt very well again if a little tired but that is more down to ray not sleeping and disturbing my sleep.

Watched an Elvis film on Channel 4 this afternoon, goodness he looked so young, but it made my day to hear his singing, he was my dreamboat and always will be, so handsome and sweet ---swooooon!!!

9.30am day 20  I have to be at the hospital  for the prechemo visit for Vitamin B injection and blood tests  and to collect my steroids and Wednesday looms ever near. I don’t like the idea and will be real glad when it is all over, I know its for my own good but the though of all the bad taste and sickness just doesn't appeal to me at all.

Taken the dog for his last walk and although its dry out there it has turned colder this makes breathing a little harder so I will have to wrap up and keep warm.

A little sad tonight as The Kent MCC has lost a wonderful man, Brian Rand he was a wonderful Character who loved dancing with us girls on the dance floor.
He will be sadly missed God bless him.

My Road. By Patience Strong

Today has never been lived before by anyone on Earth;

Today is fresh, today is new, it’s like a second birth;

To wake and feel that you can step into this unlived day,

Making of it what you will, it’s your road all the way.

Blame yourself if you repeat the failures of the past;

Make it lovely, make it happy, better than the last;

Forward now, it’s up to you;

The road is yours, the day is new.

Dedicated to Uncle Norm xx and Peter
