Another lazy day yesterday where I just took it easy as the day was very dull and drizzerly in the morning although still very mild for this time of year.
We just did a small walk and thought I didn't need the pole. I started walking like I was drunk, very wobberly on the legs so proving I need to take the trekking pole with me, for balance, Ray popped in to buy bread in the local shop and then we snuggled back in doors again.
I did a job I have been meaning to do for a long time and that was to sort all my Jewelry out.
I kept it in a make up bag but Bill had sent me the most gorgeous box of chocolates from Thorton's, on my birthday and they were great but so was the box.
It was like a chest with drawers in and I could see it would be great as a jewelry box.
I sat down and went all through all the trinkets I had and put earrings and rings in the top draw bracelets and watches in the second and necklaces in the last draw.
I realized I had 2 rings from the Elvis collection that I had bought , one is a replica of Prucilas wedding ring the other was one of Elvis's, both are very sparkly and very large, so why am I hiding them, I'm wearing them now.
Why do we buy so many things and then not use them all because we don't want to spoil them.
With that job finally done I baked a Chocolate Sponge and a Carrot Cake and also a lovely Chicken roast dinner that was very enjoyable.
We sat down and watched the X factor and then I answered my emails, as they do pile up.
Lots of fireworks going off around us which where all shooting into the sky and exploding around us ---so very pretty.
I was getting a stabbing pain in the heart area but realized, it must be indigestion from eating chocolate cake he!he!
Why do we have to suffer when we do have something nice??
Another enjoyable day was over where I felt good.
