I slept right through to 5.30am today, so was well pleased as it is nice to wake up refreshed.
We had breakfast and walked the round walk to the Beach and stopped at our friends house for a coffee.
They were cutting down some trees in the garden so we didn't stay long.
It was very cold in the wind so I wrap a scarf around my face to stop me breathing the cold air as it does hurt my chest.
We got back home and had lunch --tomato soup. Cheese and biscuits.
Off we went to B&Q's to buy more Xmas light's and a present to take to the Xmas party at the weekend.
Lots of bargain's to be found this time of year.
When we got back I decided to put all the lights up indoors and it was lovely to see them when we switched the lights on.
I love this time of year so magical.
Ray wrapped my brother and sister-in-law's present's up to send them in the post tomorrow. I have sent all my Xmas cards now so gradually ticking off my list of job's to do.
I then cooked meat pies for dinner with mashed potatoe and baked beans.--comfort food mmmm.
Another earlier night is called for as we are off to Guildford tomorrow to see the Ice Show --jack and the Bean Stalk so another exciting day ahead.
