day 15 chemo 3 the thyroid bi-op

1 minute read time.
I woke really early this morning 12.30am then 1.30 I had to get up and tried to sleep on the settee.
I must have been really worrying about the Bi-Op,
Finally I was able to have breakfast and shower as Ray got up.
Off we went to the hospital--the Bi-op has been done --They stick a long needle into the throat and scrape around then with the help of suction, suck up the  bits and put on a slide.
He said it all looks good, that it is just nodules that are growing  --so no probs and don't worry as I have enough to cope with at the moment.
I then had to go and get my B12 injection and they took ages.
So that's that.
Monday is pre- chemo and Wednesday is chemo day.THE LAST ONE hooray
We called in at the Kentucky fried chicken on the way home but wasn't impressed.
When at home, Ray and I changed the Lounge around to make it look good for Xmas only with Chemo next week I wont feel like doing much so I have to get most of it done this week.
I hope I feel good for Xmas as I do look forward to all the festivities.
I'm so tired now and I will try an early night.
