So, after feeling away over Christmas and worrying myself stupid, I decided to get a second Drs opinion and went to one of the most trusted female Drs in the surgery. Shes the menopause Dr and very up on lumps and bumps.
She didnt even examine me and said she was surprised the other Dr hadnt referred me. She said we would air on the side of caution as I should know my own body and breasts.
She informed me that Id probably get a lot of breast cancer related information to but its standard and not to worry.
I was relieved and before Id even left the surgery I had a message to say I had been referred to the breast clinic and given a date of 15th February.... this was the beginning of the waiting process.
